“Facce da Blogger” is the first book by the photographer-author Elena Datrino.
It collects the 100 main photographs of the project, created in digital medium format and counts 224 pages with images and Italian and English texts. It is an interactive book created together with the graphic designer Antonella Provasi: for each printed portrait, a corresponding QRCODE forwards the reader to more than 100 web pages, each dedicated to a photographed protagonist.
The volume, published in 2023 by Gangemi Editore, is a precious document, a testimony to the positive impact of digital in our society and the cultural ferment that bloggers have brought to Italy.
"I'm interested in witnessing the personalities behind the articles, bringing out their desire to give us, with new media, informed information, enriched by that touch of individuality.” declares Elena Datrino and continues "Tell with a shot the beauty of their creative impulse and their uniqueness."
“Elena Datrino writes a story made up of faces and tells a story through the eyes of the protagonists, unaware that in front of the camera they were not simply interpreting a passion transformed into a profession, but were telling themselves, thus marking the beginning of a change that characterized this era.” declares the curator of the project Tiziano M. Todi.

Reproductions of sculptures, paintings, photographs for the catalog "Metaphysical Visions, Vasco Ascolini meets Canova, Thorvalsen and De Chirico".
The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum and the Pasquale Battista Foundation present the first anthological exhibition held in Milan dedicated to the photographer Vasco Ascolini. The exhibition pays homage to the Emilian artist by retracing his production through a selection of over seventy of the most significant works dedicated to ancient sculpture. Vasco Ascolini's photographs will be linked to works from the past, such as small marble heads, plaster casts by Antonio Canova and Bertel Thorvaldsen and paintings by Giorgio de Chirico, in an exhibition that aims to highlight the dialectic between ancient and contemporary, recreating in the museum rooms that metaphysical atmosphere pursued by the photographer from Reggio Emilia. The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum, increasingly attentive to the dialogues between ancient and contemporary - already inherent in the nineteenth-century approach of the brothers Fausto and Giuseppe Bagatti Valsecchi - places the selected works within its fascinating permanent itinerary, inviting the visitor to immerse himself in a journey between memories, theater and metaphysics.

Reportage of the rooms of the Bagatti Valsecchi Museum and reproduction of paintings for the catalog "The Seduction of Beauty, secret masterpieces between 600 and 700".
The volume presents a selection of paintings from the vast collection of Giuseppe Rotelli and Gilda Gastaldi, who, constantly seduced by beauty, together draw a geography of journeys in search of precious works of art that narrate biblical and religious themes, but above all contemplate the daily living with scenes of music, study of the stars, nature and landscape, prayer and banquets. Giulio Cesare Procaccini, Giuseppe Vermiglio, Tanzio da Varallo, Francesco Cairo, Francesco Londonio, Carlo Francesco Nuvolone, Sebastiano Ricci, Alessandro Magnasco, Monsù Bernardo, Giacomo Francesco Cipper, Giacomo Ceruti, Michele Marieschi, Francesco Guardi and Luca Carlevarijs are some of the masters undisputed ones that populate a living collection, between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, in constant change. The Bagatti Valsecchi Museum opens the doors of the historic residence to an important Milanese collection to discover that art transforms space into time and gives us glimpses of reality but also moments of illusion.
